Angry Driver needed --> Geeksquad GS-FD128 (USB 2.0 Flash drive) for Win98SE

This problem has been driving me nuts all afternoon -- I've been searching high & low, beginning with Geeksquad.com (worthless).

Does anyone know of a generic driver I can use for it?

Also, geeksquad shit is obviously rebadged. If anyone knows what brand it's a rebadging of, that may help get the ball rolling for me.

    Gracias!

Windows XP has a USB 2.0 mass storage client driver built in. Get out of the stone age.

Or maybe, this might help: http://www.msfn.org/board/lofiversio...hp/t37429.html

    Lightbulb

    Thanks for the help.

My puter can't handle XP -- it's that old.

I've got a new one coming in the fall but until then, it's this one.

I suggest shopping for USB Flash drives to find a flash drive that looks the same, then use that manufacturer's website to download the driver.

Or google for geeksquad rebadged flash:

    Thumbs down

Thanks for the suggestion. Apparently it's a rebadged SanDisk Cruzer Mini, which my brother actually has.

We downloaded the driver and it doesn't appear to be working. Sweet.

Lo and behold, there's a phone number on the back of it ... 1 800 Geek Squad -- we call and get put on hold for 5 minutes only for them to tell us they don't do tech support for their own products. WTF?! Geeksquad can lick a dirty va-jay-jay.

I'm never buying Geeksquad shit again.
