Anyone skied shit for brains this year (just outside of ABasin) and/or know if it's filled in to ski?

I saw the remnants of a slide in the bottom half of it last Sunday, still looked like it'd be good to go though.

Yeah, people have been skiing it for a couple of months. But the choke looks REALLY narrow/thin to me right now. Long straightline...

PS - I am typing this from the A Basin ticket office. Sweet job I got...

Selling tickets for the next few weeks. I get out at 1-2 o'clock and then I can ski the rest of the afternoon. And I get breakfast. And I have internet access. And the crew around here is pretty cool...

Huh, we've got the "Oh Shit" cliffs out here and the only way to ski 'em is to poach after the lifts close. Sick lines I wish were open but they did a permanent closer back in the '80s due to avy & cliff danger. Friggin' California liability.

It's really not all that great. If I were you I would go for something off the backside of that ridge. Much better lines and less douched. Either way, I think you should bring the vid cam and take some footage.

Nothing like straightlining through avalanche debris to reconfirm your religious affiliation.

I can make it out Sunday. Got a few things in mind, but nothing solidified yet. cmor has a cool route down in the Sawatch he's been itching to get on. Thinking about that one. Hit me up with a pm or call me later. Would be great to get you out on something.

I've lost this battle numerous times.
