Good luck. I've only know one person who has poached the Cirque. As I recall it was done on the left shoulder on a socked in day. It's possible on a really shitty vis day, but you don't exactly want to go in there if you can't see where you're headed.Originally Posted by cj001f
Otherwise, patrol is all over it. From what I understand you'll lose your pass, not just get a corner clipped. From what I can tell, not even the bro/brahs poach it.
That said, some people do poach a mellow chute near Hell's. And there were a ton of tracks in the meat of it last week. Patrol does ski it, just nobody else. Which sucks, but that's Kirkwood for you. On a couple of occasions I've seen patrol keep chair 10 closed just so they can lap it. Thanks guys!

Really? Nothing against the Kwood patrol, but they seem kind of understaffed for that kind of response. But then hardly anyone skies thunder saddle, so you´d be conspicuous. If the cirque emptied somewhere more popular you´d be set. Hopefully I´ll have season pass to worry about next season, since I won´t make it back for close.Originally Posted by Arty50

Actually, it's been in their permit area for years, but it would be cool to see them finally do it.

I don't know about annexing but it sure would be nice if someone went up to the Face at Jay and cut all those damn shrubs. I'm talking all of them. Is that too much to ask?
