We got about 8" at our house at 7,000ft. Should be 10-12" at 9,000 up here. I'm going out now.

    It's on!

I'm walking out of work in 20 mins, so some will be gotten.

I seem to remember 4/20 last season at the bird as a very good day, and Splat, Arty, and hardrider were in town getting some.

Have a fun day out there y'all

    ^ dude; sorry I didn't give ya a shout
you watch weather patterns around here enough and you kind of get some feelings sometimes - yesterday/last night I only had a small twitch in the knee - certainly not enough for the drive over - hell I bet RB didn't even see all of this one coming

but, for God's sake throw Jane in the car and get over here for tomorrow and friday and .....
there will be terrain not open today that will be sickter, mcrickter tomorrow at the Birdy, Bird
and then some touring Friday ...

you know you wanna pull the trigga' Roy Rodgers stylie and all just do it, just do it ...

btw, this morning was fucking ridiculous at the bird. got up a little late, showed at the tram line at 8:45. Mr Ag was a couple turns of the maze in front of me. Didn't start loading cars until 9:30, Craig and I ended up on the same boat. For the next 4 hours we experienced a severe problem - choking on snow every fucking turn. The first run from mid-cirque was a nonstop white room - every turn was chest deep, billowing overhead. It only got better as we made our way down the lower mtn groomed steeps and trees. F-K-N-A. Go back up, hit a higher cirque shot. Its a little scrapey for the first few turns, then we end up right back in the white room. Third run, another shot further down the Cirque - more goods. It just did not stop.

Ran into Treskcow and Kristen mid-morning, as well as Z and his dad. Killed a couple runs with the solitude crew, finished up with them over on a smoothed out Silver Fox, and then left for work. April 20 2005 - killer.

Every spring I remember why I have s Snowbird pass: Endless faceshots off the cirque, keep going, more face shots, keep going (legs screaming), more face shots, end up at the tram deck somehow, legs howling.

FKNA! This morning was a nice surprise. I worked through a long day yesterday so I could make it this morning, it paid off big time. I'd work many more 14 hour days to get mornings like this one.

What stump and Mr. AG said! Holy shit, I haven't even been here a week and I get this little house warming gift.

My sincerest condolences to stump for missing the opening of Baldy. Though it was "Agro-fest, Ragecall 2005" I barely noticed. As of 1-ish, there was plenty of stuff still closed, so tomorrow should be good.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

just got back from skiing atla at sunset with Xover. Main Baldy was...interesting. It's deep up there, but not the entrance to Main. Coldest day of the year for me. Bout froze my hands - they are still cold. Photos to come later.
