    TR: Road Poaching

Well, first of all I'd like to inform everyone that today's trip to the oncologist was a great big thumbs up. So, to celebrate on this beautiful 80 degree and sunny day, I slathered on a few layers of sunblock and zinc oxide, pulled on a pair of LAF socks, and went out for a two hour sojourn on the road bike.

Recently, there was a huge amount of flooding along the Delaware River in PA and NJ, and PA Rte. 32 is closed in a few places. Aparently PENNDOT (the same organization that can't seem to figure out how to patch a simple pothole) has decided that after years of neglecting the states roadways, a bunch of bridges along the Delaware are now unsafe. Fortunately, it's pretty easy to lift a road bike over a concrete barrier (even in cleats), so I got to cruise along deserted roadways, without having to worry about some SUV that will never see dirt plow me over because the driver is too bust gabbing on the Nokia while sipping latte.

Anyway, now that I'm not injecting all sorts of shit into my body, I'm feeling a hell of a lot stronger. And less tired too. Living strong indeed!

Plakes - great to hear you're back in action after the injections and the HIP!!

Anyway I'm probably going to be moving up to the Bucks, Montgomery, Chester area this summer and will definitely be biking up there. I'm unsure of exactly when, gotta find a job first. Oh and that whole marriage thing.

(sidenote: is it bad that I had to look up how to spell marriage...)
