    Fixing helmet fit.

I have a funny shaped head. Helmets are hard to find for me. After the harness on my old giro finally shit the bed I found one that is oh so close to fitting perfectly and I like it and since my LBS blows I don't really want to play the return / try another one game. I think I am going to try and change the fit of it just where it is tight. I'm thinking of somehow locating the points where it is tight and dremeling them down some - just enough to not pinch, which will only be a tiny amount. Sand paper might work too. Anyone ever do this?

Use the back side of a spoon to compress and smooth the tight points. If the helmet is warm (left in the sun, hot bathroom after a shower) the eps is a little more malleable.
Much better results than cutting or removing foam.

I like it, I'll try this first. Thanks.
