Maybe Fuzz was a better "technical" shot but crashes did it for me. Very col composition. No particular reason. Great shots by all !! BTW Fuzz, you take amazing shots !! All those roadscapes in NZ were off the chart ! Well played sir !

Wow.. very nice, diverse and wholesome bunch (esp. JS... did you contemplate yelling, "You're under arrest!" to get his face?)

CTD's is straight out of Mad Max and Fuzz's Milky Highway is breathtaking, but I am torn between BaNosser and Ridinshotgun. Something old time and primal is speaking to me (and plz, no wife jokes). Going rsg because it takes me back to my days in the Blue Ridge Mtns. (and that was without having looked at the entry thread!)

    Okay, that makes you biased

Wow, the season brings out the best…

Each of the road scapes are stunning and just keep canceling one another out and I’ve seen enough road in the last few weeks.

BaNosser’s subject is really the definition of Americana but the saturation levels are twisting my eye.

RSG captured something in the subject that is little known and/or seen by so few.
. RSG, do you know if the art on the caisson was commissioned or is it Rogue?

So, not piling on… but I do draw the same conclusion, I’m just getting there from a very different perspective.

Which brings me to a little thread highjack:
I’ve got a gig for 4 or 5 site visits for project completion pictures.
Time Square to start then south to MSG, Bloomberg, Cooper Sq and Tish, then over the (east) river possibly. I’d pay the project with per-diem. Shouldn’t take more than a day, maybe two. Logistics (security pass through) will be the real work portion and your gift of persuasion will be key. I'd like to get this locked up by the end of the day Tuesday and finished by Friday the 27th.

PM me if there is any interest.

The thing is, initially I had no idea that's actually where the pic was taken, so I was saying that he really nailed it. It reminded me of it immediately.

What exactly is this gig you speak of? I speak the language of persuasion...

    .
I'm 99.9% sure it's rogue. I actually don't know a thing about it, but noticed it when I was, uh, "trolling" for a good shot in that area since I knew there was some potential along that road with the river and the steep grade. And when I saw it, I really liked it.

Here is a close crop of another shot I took that shows it in a little more detail, but I didn't think the shot this was cropped from worked as well. Just click on the thumbnail, I don't want to disturb the voting thread too much so I didn't post it larger.

Nice work CTD. The lines (in the sky and on the ground) in that shot are great.

And apparently no one likes a classic New England winter scene .
