Finally got a minute to watch Fallon's recap of the afterparty. That sounded sick.

First of all, Blondie was hot as shit back in the day, (before she went on the Indiana casino circuit).

To think of the B-52's being followed up by Bill Murray and Prince is epic. So rad.

Heh, I'm still laughing to myself about "The Love Theme From Jaws". Instant classic!

I think Steel Wheels was their tipping point. But they still slay the old stuff at their shows - anyone who hasn't dropped $600 to witness it hasn't seen the light!

Heh, exactly why I had to sit out the 50th anniversary shows. $600 was the cheapest available - if you were able to get em two seconds after they went on sale. I looked to hit up Chicago and the cheapest I could find was $2400 for two nosebleeds.

I'd put it later than Steel Wheels. I found myself actually enjoying "You got me rockin'" the other day - something I never thought I'd say. Maybe it was the nostalgia for the video?

Anyway, they play all the old greats in concert and that's all I can ask for. Shit, they even broke out some really sweet B-sides on the 40 licks tour. I heard "I am waiting", "Sway"; and some other great ones. I love me some Brian Jones era tracks. (Yes I know Sway was post BJ you pedants!)

Huh, you got me thinking and I went back and played Voodoo Lounge tonight, and you know what? It's not bad at all! Pretty damn good considering all the really really great stuff that they had done before and could have just mailed it in. Crazy to think that Voodoo is now 20 years old

Michael Keaton on SNL tonight. Intro was good.

And the CNN bit killed it.

And, oh, BMills, even your attempts to be insulting are lame and pathetic. It's because you are so often posting from a position of both ignorance and lack of having done anything worth posting about.
