    CO maggs this week

    Anyone skiing this week? would love to get some soft park days in, but i could be convinced to hike or otherwise....

    anyone in?

    Good luck finding a nice park, A-basin and Loveland are the only resorts near summit co. with open parks right now. I wouldnt recommend either park however, as both are shitty, and at times unsafe. If you want bigger hits hike breck or copper. I havent skied loveland this year but judging from their track record they will have poorly constructed hits with flatter than flatt landings. A-basins park is, in my opinion, for marketing purposes only, Ive skied better in Illinois in the 90's.

    yeah, abasin's park sucked when i cruised through in feb.....was hoping maybe it was better nowadays....

    A-basin does it soley for marketing. From everything I have heard, the mountain staff would rather see it gone. Takes up space they don't really have... luckily its shitty space nobody wants to ride anyways. But keeps the boarders off Pali, the East Wall, and soon the expanded terrain in Montezuma bowl.
