I think that the announcement is going to be anti-climatic, most likely that he is retiring after he wins his 7th TdF in July.

a) he's only had one cut off...but that one doesn't work anyway. Only way to knock Sheryl up is with a popsicle
b) I was talking to a buddy last night about the TdF. We thought it might be kinda cool to see Lance set up Hincapie to win the tour this year. George has put in how many years supporting Lance? Just a thought.
c) maybe he's just holding the press conference to say that he's not using drugs. Haven't seen anything lately saying he was, but it'll be coming soon, so might as well head it off at the pass

Hincapie doesn't have what it takes to win a Grand Tour. His climbing and TTs are not strong enough.
