Mounting IM85s with Naxos? Jong question?

I know nothing about forward, rearward, sideward mounting, esp. for BC binders and skis. I am about to put some naxos on a pair of IM85s for mostly to all (hopefully) deep snow riding - should I be concerned about mounting the bindings at a certain point on the ski (I am not mounting them myself but don't want to sound like an ijit when I take them into Marmot)...
    thanks!

I would personaly go fo a mount straight on the line. Yes a mount further back will make them float better in pow, but with a large ski that shouldn't be a problem. Further back than boot center creates handling problems in certain situations and snow conditions. This is going to be a BC ski? so you can't allways choose your snow conditions.

Naxo is irrelevant (except for subtle ramp issues).

Main question is do you mount IM85 on center or slightly behind.
Just deep pow snow, I prefer to be back 1cm or 1.5cm in general, but this depends on the ski also.

I have the same setup, mount according to the boot sole center mark on the ski and you will be fine.

Im thinking of mounting fritchis on my IM85's. Im a little worried about their weight for skinning and their Burl for the bindings. Theyre Titanal 2's, and Im worried they wont keep up with the skis. This is my first AT setup and Id like to do it right.

no I tried - I planned for bottomless every day - so far we have rain, hoar frost and wind slab...the skis have been running great though mounted at the line - now I just need to find some AT boots to keep up with them!
