    one advantage of being gimpy...

    the sympathy / increased attention from your signifigant other is freaking awesome. i'm still pissed about missing my trip to mammoth this week, though...

    i got all sorts of pity lovin. I also got an abundance of fruit-flavored candies. then after about a week.... the visits stopped and I ran out of candy. All I was left with was TGR gimp central and a broken leg.

    The sponge bath's were worth it alone.

    That said, the burrito dude at Chipotle today carried my tray to the booth and filled up my self serve beverage for me. Crutches have some upside.

    yeah, crutches have their uses, stairs not being one of them. fortunately, i'm on this walking cast (looks more like a ski boot) that allows me more mobility. i'm walking without it around the house, though
