    Stretching boot shell (max)

I bought a pair of used FleXons, initially just for the tongue. Starting to think that I would like to use the boot. Sole length is 289 (25.5) a good fit for me is a 26 Roissi (304). With the FleXons I have about a ½ pinky shell fit, the Rossi is a 1.5-.75 finger fit.

This might be a summer project, I’m handy and if all fails I destroy a boot.
So my question, is it possible to get 10-15mm out of stretching? Not looking for a “how to” at this point, if your inclined have at it . Done the research but just haven’t got any number on what distance is possible.

    Thanks

do you need more room just the big toe (like L7's freakish feet) or all the toes.

Also look at punching the heel pocket back some too

No real issues with the wings I think.

Also 1 fing fit is OK so you dont really need much room

Just trim your toes a bit, and a little off your heels, no need to change the shell at all. Just kidding.
It should be possible with some work. You also might try a heel lift to pull your toes back, unless it creates other problems.

1 -1.5 cms is a stretch, but possible. You might need to shave a bit off inside. How about the liner? Plan on stretching it, too?

No way in hell that I could ski in this boot now, shell fit is basically a jammed tight pencil behind the heal with toes touching the front. I’m guessing 15mm at the big toe and then about 12mm overall needs to be acquired. Looks like it would be safe to grind the heel for about 2mm and do the rest with stretching of the toe box. Luckily the shell has plenty of plastic on the pinky side because I have a large mass on that side. Splat, no on the liner, thinking a G-fit because of it's thinness. If all works the boot will hopefully replace my AT boots.

Guess its time to start building some stretching tools.
