2015 Bent Chetler Mounting Questions

1) What is the factory recommended mount line for the 192?

2) If the ski is mounted for a 27 boot on the factory line, how would using a size 28 boot effect the ski?

3) Where are others mounting their 192s, what's your skiing style, and how do you like that location?

For reference. I don't ride switch much in the pow aside from the occasional butter and switch landing. I do charge big mountain pretty hard though. Have a couple other skis in my quiver for park, all-mountain, etc.

From 27 to 28, your boot center would be about 1cm back.

Mounted mine at -1. It skis centered, but does it very well. I know other people have mounted -1 and also loved it there. I wanted a little more tip because i dont ski switch.

I really enjoy this ski as a playful charger. Its got some heft to it, and its stiffer than the previous years, so it can charge relatively well for ski of this type. Not as well as my katanas, but not too far off. And even in the 192, its very forgiving in the right conditions. Handles tighter, more technical terrain very well for such a large ski.

I've got older (13) Bents that I ended up mounting at the back most line (-2.5) and they're a blast in pretty much every condition. FWIW, I'm 6'3" 195# and ski in AT boots w Barons on the Bents. Also "directional" (aka "old guy ") skier. Didn't like them at first on factory line, love 'em now.

Did atomic change the factory mount from the older versions? What is the length from the tail to the recommended line on the older versions?

My 192 measures 190.5cm, and the recommended line is 92cm from the tail.

Just checked mine. 190.5 straight pull tip to tail and I'm mounted w boot center right around 90 cm straight pull from the tail. I'm remembering now that when I remounted (back from factory line) we just reused some set of holes, so didn't necessarily use an exact measure. Hope that helps.
