The whole design is perfection for an all around ski.
This whole thread was a joke. But I concur with you.

I have a pair of 180cm Explosiv and I think it is the greatest ski I have ever been on for skiing the Tahoe region. And kudos to Bandit Man for steering me towards it last December.

My other fav' is the Dynastar Legend Pro.

Should I get Explosiv used or wait for the Mantra and if so, what length? Maybe 177 for the left ski and a 184 for the right? Blue noodles? I see lots of those on the slopes. Hmm.... can you guys be helpful to me? BTW, who make the Bro?
Short answer: Why not just buy all 4 skis.
Shorter answer: Just get the Bros.
Longer answer: I own 3 of the 4 skis you mentioned (Stiff Bros, Pocket Rocket, and Explosive) and here is a comparison of the 3:
Stiff Bros - Widest, stiffest, most stable, and a close second for lightest ski of the 3.
Pocket Rocket - Narrowest, softest, least stable, and lightest of the 3.
Explosive - Middle in width comparison, a close second for stiffness and stability, and much heavier than the other 2.
Last season (and post-season) the Pocket Rockets were my backcountry ski. The Explosives have been my early and late season resort ski for the most part. However, since I got the stiff Bros I haven't used the other 2 skis at all. IMHO the Bro is the closest you can get to a one ski quiver.
