The beauty of this concept is it lends itself to franchising. Similar to the breastaurant concept employed by Hooters and now Twin Peaks, and others.

I see this catching on for ski areas.

Hooters just announced the other day they are expanding in Asia.

And to think, after last year's, DoWork wasn't going to start one for the '14-15 season?

From there its just a short walk over the hand bridge to the renamed Big Lovely Tits bar. After a nip or two at the BLT, perhaps you're yearning for something more challenging? Take a ride up the Underwire lift and motorboat over to Double D's Glade, one of New England's signature bump runs. Done for the day? Don't forget to stop by the gift shop and pick up a " I Tittyfucked Double D's at Magic Mtn" bumper sticker."
This had me laughing out loud at work, so good, thank you for that. Underwire lift sounds painful if it breaks though.

Is this storm going to hit Magic at all tomorrow? Want to get up there this year finally and that would be some good motivation, well that and the Big Lovely Tits bar of course.

So far forecasts look like it's not going to produce much in S. VT., maybe a few inches. We can only hope the track somehow changes and we get it instead of coastal NY/NE.

34 trails open! (from my GF reading the magic site)

So who in marketing is reading the thread, or did they get a storm this week that I missed living 45 minutes to the south?

Her reaction exemplifies the discussion from the past few pages, if its "open", list it to pull more people in.

last weekend how many trails were open, 12?

I didn't notice any appreciable snow this week (I live south of Magic), but now 34 trails will be open tomorrow? There was a lot of discussion regarding closed trails, limited patrol and trail count vs. snowfall driving skiers to the mountains.

I read between the lines and try to pick the best option for turns. My GF reads the trail count and picks the cheapest place with highest trail count, which has resulted in some sketchy turns on groomed gravel/snow more then once.

Is the upcoming trail count (including the west side) realistic, or a response to the comments on the past few pages?

Those comments weren't just being said on here. Everyone wants more. Ops has been running ragged but they turned it up anyways and have been working super hard to spread out the snow, open as much as they can and groom everything humanly possible. The mountain has a lot of snow on it.

They made a pretty big organizational change to how trails are opened too so hopefully we will see a new school of thought going forward. I like what I'm seeing and hearing though.

If you like what you're seeing though, you should come out. It's been a while and the skiing is great!!

Is there still construction at night in Albany?

There's really no good way to bypass to the east. You probably just need to go one more exit, take I87N to Rt 7E. Adds 5 or 6 miles but avoids the construction.
