01 (I think?) Yeti ASR, XT/XTR, mish mash of parts, but dig the King hubs. Still trying to dial in the Marzochi fork.

I've got a 1997 Schwinn Homegrown hardtail that is still going strong (assuming it's because the frame was built by Yeti). I'd love to get a softtail one of these days though... my spine would sure appreciate it.
It looks pretty much just like this one:

my preciouses-
2004 Litespeed Pisgah hardtail, xt/xtr mishmash, avid mech discs, crossmax SL wheels, Fox F80RLT fork, other nice bits.
2000 schwinn paramount - rare, lugged 853 frame (handbuilt by Match Cycles), beautiful 'flaming gold' metallic paint, ultegra/DA 9spd mishmash, just spent ~$500 on upgrades (Kestrel carbon fork, new bars, stem, CK headset, new chain, 12-27 cassette, etc.).

Turner 5 spot with zocchi Z1 FR (which i just picked up and have only ridden around the neighborhood----Damn shitty weather!!!

Oh, and Arty i have begun chaining up the VP Free even when it is in the garage (if you get any ideas when i am gone on vacation.)
Now, if it would just continue to rain at all elevations and we can rid of some of this unsightly snow and allow me to take these new bikes out on a couple worthy rides.![]()
Damn! Last I heard you were pimpin' a Heckler, now you own 2 of my favorite bikes?!Originally Posted by lph

So far, even pedaling around the neighborhood it is a fun bike. Love it.
Bought the vpfree from guy who was working on my heckler last year, but only got to ride it a handful of times before our abbreviated fall ended.
(so now i guess i got to hide it as well as lock it up, either that or just chain my mean killer dog to it.)
did you get a new dog?? I mean, I know about Bodie, but who is this mean killer dog you speak of?Originally Posted by lph
I'll be riding my same old 2003 Santa Cruz Superlight. Love it love it love it.
Oh, I did pick up two beach cruisers from Craiglist for $40 each. Granted, neither of them currently is ridable, but I'm hoping to change that soon.

ya, Bodie isn't the toughest dog around, but he seems to become extra loud and tough when he sees Arty. Funny, I have no idea why though.Originally Posted by watersnowdirt
