You might also try moving the ball further foward in your stand (effectively giving the clubhead more time to close along the swingpath *before* impact.)
Yep, open face is my problem regarding the slice. On thing that really helped was rotating my left hand so I could see my index and middle finger knuckles (basic, but I did not know). My grip was allowing the face to open every time. And it felt right too, as opposed to other grips I have tried. I am swinging slower as well with the new clubs pops hooked me up with. Not as much distance but I am keeping the ball in the right spot for the next shot. My short game was on, chipped in from say 45 yards or so for my first birdie, EVER too!! That got the confidence up and pared two more holes.

Doing a "pendulm" (sp) for putting and that helped sink 3 crucial puts.

I have not tried putting the ball further, but was teeing lower this time out too and was connecting well each time. I will try that though, thanks Ep!

If I can play like I did from now on and keep practicing these little things, I hope to break 100 this summer.

Ay Utards golf? I need a partner or two.

Im a Birch fan myself, usually walk though, Logan Swamp cost me too many balls, done there. They gots attitude there anyhow.

Been hitting Glen Eagle here in Clearfield lately, good course, decieving to the eye, you think it it is wide open, looks wide open, then...... Think $36 for 18 w/cart. Weekends have to have cart (and since it is right down the road, beer too, for me at least ).

Want to see if I can walk 9 in Brigham after work once in a while too.

    We shall talk.
