most so called libertarians are fascist leaning

'socialism' means you are more interested distributing power equally

libertarianism is unreasonable because it avoids how power is distributed and wielded

Read the wiki, we're on the same page. I'm not a "right" libertarian, a term co opted by the conservatives. Libertarianism predates that relationship.

Honestly, I think a lot of LEOs are just simple thugs. The dumber jocks and rednecks who couldn't figure out what to do after high school and still wanted to project the power they missed so much from the glory days.

I agree. Five stations that are all but held immune from prosecution - the rich, the political, the lawyers, the judges, and the cops. I oppose the impunity these classes enjoy. Basically, they get to run roughshod over the citizenry, breaking laws and affecting the lives of multitudes of people in very negative ways and their predecessors rigged the system so they seldom, if ever, are held accountable. I believe this is an underlying root cause of so much social anguish and violence. Historically, the preferential treatment of these ruling class groups has been to the great dissatisfaction of the ruled, as most of the exempt are paid via taxation. Even when monetary judgments are awarded to people for the fuckups of cops, lawmakers and judges - it doesn't come out of their (public officials') pockets. The same people they abuse also pay the penalties - via taxation - all the multimillion dollar wrongful death lawsuits, rigged verdicts exposed, DNA evidence exonerating innocents and abuses of power - where does the money come from? Everyone. Now why the fuck would anybody get mad about that??

Sir John Acton, 6th Baronet.[2][3] He is perhaps best known for the remark,
"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."[4] This idea has been tested in laboratory settings.[5

Police: Off-Duty Cop Fatally Shoots Man In Brooklyn Road Rage Incident

    http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/off-duty-shoots-man-dead-road-rage-incident-brooklyn-article-1.2698074

Interesting that the cops and a witness' story was that the dude was unleashing a barrage of fists that nearly beat the cop to death.

No doubt 2 more assholes meeting each other but I'm pretty sure if I shot and killed someone at my car window I would be sitting in a jail cell right now.

The mayor of Rabbit Hash, KY is a Border Collie.

I'd take the Border Collie to run my government over the baby.

Naw he's an even tempered man of integrity.

"In 1993, Kroll was sued under claims that he beat up a 15-year-old black boy while calling him racial slurs. The city fought the suit and won in federal court with an African-American judge.

In 2002, Kroll took part in a drug raid of a Native American home. The residents alleged that he was among a dozen officers who beat and humiliated them throughout the course of a three-hour search, which included grabbing a pregnant woman out of the shower. The city ultimately settled the suit for $60,000.

In 2004, Kroll and a fellow officer were sued for fighting while off duty. The two were driving past the Art-A-Whirl festival in Northeast when they came upon a group of drunk people dancing in the street. In passing, one of them hit the officers' car. The suit alleges that Kroll and the other cop got out and started beating down on the guys in the street. The cops claim they were trying to make a citizen’s arrest when they were beset and beaten up by a group of 15 people. Ultimately, Kroll was suspended for 160 hours and the civilians received an undisclosed settlement.

In 2005, yet another lawsuit alleged that a group of cops, including Kroll, brutalized a pair of great-grandparents and their son during a house raid for an armed shooter. The residents accused the officers of kicking them, cussing at them, and forcing the son to listen to country music in the back of squad car. That suit was tossed in federal court.

The protesters also accuse Kroll of making racist comments and being associated with white power organizations. In 2007, a group of five black Minneapolis officers sued the city and former chief Timothy Dolan for building a hostile work environment in the MPD. Kroll wasn’t a defendant in the suit, but it singled him out for allegedly calling then newly elected Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison a terrorist and for wearing a white power patch on his motorcycle jacket. That black officers were ultimately awarded $74,000."

also, Kroll & ~11 other officers in MPD are members of a motorcycle club City Heat... just boys having fun:

“Several organizations, such as the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center, confirmed for us that photos on the City Heat Web site showed numerous individuals displaying symbols of the KKK and neo-Nazi hate groups, along with the Confederate flag, nooses, ‘Proud to be White’ and ‘Are you here for the hanging’ patches,” Klassen informed me in an e-mail.

He described the “I’m here for the hanging” patch, worn by someone he believes might be a Chicago-area cop, as “some type of inside joke with Chicago.”

“Aren’t you aware of hangings in old Western shows?” Kroll asked. He believes the patch stems from “Beer for My Horses,” a country-western song Kroll says is popular among cops because of its strong law-and-order lyrics.

The song “has reference to taking all the rope in Texas, find a tall oak tree, round up all of them bad boys, hang ’em high in the street,” Kroll said. “Great song — I have the CD.”

As for the rebel flags, “if you travel the South, Confederate flags are quite popular,” Kroll explained. “I think you would have a hard time proving racism. … Again, I have yet to see any hate and racially offensive symbols. The ones you provided me are weak at best.”
