I keep looking for a reason to not call it an Assassination.
After the First Two shots, While he on the Ground, You hear three more shots about 5 seconds later.
"Well shucks, he's shot, might as well finish him off?"

    Police Behaving Badly

Reports are that he had a gun in his pocket and that he pointed it at soneone earlier. Thats why you hear the second cop yelling gun!

Now, if true, he didnt need to die, and seems the second cop just felt it in his pocket, but he was resisting, and thats worthy of a darwin award in my book.

Yeah, much more will come out, but jesus, if you have a gun on you, tell the cops, keep your hands up and do what they ask you to do. Fighting cops is going to get your ass kicked (or killed) almost every single time...

I've never understood running or fighting the cops.

Go to jail. It's not that big of a deal. Better than being dead.

I agree, but for a lot of these folks they were not taught the proper way to deal with adverse situations. it's the truth

Easy to say/understandable perspective when you're not:

    -living in a project
-getting policed like you're in a project
    -excluded from labor markets
-completely lacking any semblance of an education
    -living with non white skin
    -poor
-raised to believe you are expendable

Hoppers run from cops successfully everyday. It's a part of life. They get beat, so they run.

It's called survival instinct. They're already dead in the eyes of the law, multinational business and the 'proper' economy.

With my personality I'd be dead by 20, tops.

Still trying to get my mind around what I think. I know this is not a one off incident.

Without getting into all kinds of deep social justice shit. That man did not trust the police.
The police do not even treat him like a man. A citizen. They saw him as nothing more than an animal to be controlled.

That does not just happen overnight.
All I know is that it cannot continue like this.

It was really, really upsetting for for me to see the aftermath when they panned back to him after being shot and he was clearly breathing his last. I'll make sure to never watch that again. Damn. This is terrible. Wrong.

Let's bridge this gap in perspective, at least artificially for a brief moment. The correct legal term for "social justice shit" is civil rights. Yes, those civil rights. If you insist on appending shit to them, then what exactly does that make you? In the eyes of the law. Or the FBI. Or local SWAT. Think about that. Extend it to your children if you have any, your wife/lover, parents. If a system does not respect the integrity of human life, that system has violated the single most important precept underlying the social contract which gives it the right to enforce the rule of law.

Not trusting the police is 1) not a crime 2) not irrational given what the DOJ has published on civil rights abuses nationwide, particularly among people of color and 3) in no way a justification for failure to observe a person's civil rights. If you think those stats are a false positive and the real cause is racial inferiority, then you either don't understand statistics as well as you think you do, or you're a bigot. In this aspect of the broader situation, this point cannot have dispute. Law is applied based on race and class every day. This is fact and not subject to dispute in aggregate. It is not an absolute, it is a statistical reality that manifests in ways we don't process well.

You're exactly right - they reacted in an instant to a failed traffic stop, blatant disrespect and failure to obey + evading arrest. Not good things to do. NOT things I advocate or support in a vacuum. The responding officers probably had Orlando/Ammosexual-Gone-Crazy all over their thoughts. That's fine, and human. What's not okay is to take ASSumptions about prior behavior (he breached fence therefore he is Timothy McVeigh / ISIS / et al) then predict future behavior and utilize an emotional appeal* to justify what was never a justified course of action: shooting with the intent to kill based on a mixup of emotional reactions and assumptions about future events that do not stand to reason (he breached aluminum fence, therefore he will kill 20 people!).

In the United States, non-white and/or poor white people are simply not full citizens. They are in theory, but not in practice. If you want me to elaborate and back it up with statistically significant analysis, I can.

*Emotional appeal is a logical fallacy, whereby a debater attempts to win an argument by trying to get an emotional reaction from the opponent and audience.

So apparently there is new police murder video out of twin cites. I don't even want to watch it

    It occurred to me

Could this egregious slew of police videos have deeper purpose.

    Systematic desensitization to execution

I don't even wanna type more. They are watching

Turn Off the Internet before there is a complete collapse of civil order?

I have been spending a bit too much reading many thing on the internet, listening to the TV.
I feel bad, like a child who has done something wrong.
We are just seeing and reading about injustices that have been going on for some time.
If we look it's just so much to take in. And what can we do about it. (Bitch in CAPS on the internet)?
Things are changing very fast., and it's messy.

    What is the end game.?
