Let's see--racist troll gets thread moved to a place where no one will see it. Looks like he got what he wanted , keeping police misconduct hidden, with the help of the mods. Shame on the mods for letting the racist troll win.
BTW I believe that interfering with a web site by high volume spamming or other methods is a federal felony, at least that the doctor/dentist legal opinion. And given the nature of what he is spouting maybe a hate crime enhancement?
OK, moving it to "Bullfighting" is kinda funny, but come on - move it back.
This.
Unless you see it firsthand, or hear someone's story who has experienced it first hand I think it's not easy to understand. I worked on a construction job in NYC this past summer and became pretty close with the elevator operator, who is a couple years older than me and grew up in a not so good part of the city. Some of his stories about school were pretty similar to what FK's posts described.. minus the racist overtone of them. He happened to be hispanic.
I don't think one can pin it on a certain race, rather a socioeconomic class related to living conditions/neighborhood. It's somewhat understandable.
Fundamentally, this thread and the problem it highlights is about abuse of power by people who think they can get away with it. It should surprise no one that such predatory actions are disproportionately aimed at people who appear to be helpless or powerless. As such, even if the perpetrators were never racists these actions should be expected to fall more often on minorities, the poor, mentally ill/challenged, and anyone else that a schoolyard bully might single out as an easy target. Black cop on black citizen crime stats even make black cops look biased against their own race, but in reality the power-drunk among them probably see what their fellow officers see: best pick on someone who can't fight back.
Racist kitten was right about one thing: it should not be a race issue. Protecting the powerless will benefit a disproportionate number of black people, though. Hopefully that won't foul the litterbox.
Now get this bullshit out of the bullfighting forum!
Former SLC chief Burbank got a new yab as National Director or something looking into po lice reform. Ive met him and heard him speak a few times, good speaker, got sacked on bs. Openly acknowledges the need to change policing strategies nationwide.
Seems progress is slow but still moving at the national level.
Police can not police themselves. It's just bad window dressing.
Police investigate themselves and all is good/s
These 2 cops had screwed this guy for life, until the video was released. Why isn't "Internal Affairs" going to jail too?
The chain of corruption is shown to be as dirty as it gets.
Dashcam video of man holding hands up helps convict officers
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Two police officers who accused a motorist of trying to grab one of their guns were convicted Thursday of misconduct in part because a dashcam video showed the motorist holding his hands up.

I'm sure the police union will still defend these thugs but I can't imagine how.
Tried to resist arrest of course. I mean, after you've laid there and attempted to surrender you have to assume they are trying to kill you right?
It is from a business security camera. I assume it was turned over to the police one way or another.
