I have had the police draw on me 2 times in just the past year. Right or wrong just do what they say. I was never arrested or shot. And the more people protest the better they like it because then they get to beat up and tear gas and tase protesters. And if they can provoke the protesters into burning, or breaking windows, or looting so much the better. It's not the cops' personal property that's being destroyed and non-peaceful protests feed into the narrative the cops want us to believe--that they are all that is protecting us from the thugs.

In this case I doubt it's a conspiracy--an organized, directed effort involving PD's across the country to kill black people. More like like minds thinking alike, and some informal locker room talk and internet talk on private police forums. But it wouldn't shock me if it were the former.

It's strange to watch how becoming an Officer changes people. A lot of guys I was in the military with became cops and slowly but surely they developed an "us vs. Everyone else" mentality. And these were reasonable individuals when they were in the military. They never hesitated to call out the shit bags. But, soon as they received a badge it was cops vs society.
