I think it happened to someone, on his dog forum. Not him.
Still asshole, bitchmade cop.

oh right. shit. got swept up in the story i guess. hopefully, there will be legal consequences
Comparing soccer fans to BLM protesters simply proves how much of an idiotic racist POS you are
300 years ago?!?! The new civil rights movement has nothing to do with slavery! It has to do with Justice justice in the face of systemic racism.
For someone that tries to come off as if they're educated in Wise you sure don't know much
Akdumbass, if you're not part of the solution you are part of the problem.

Without getting into into whether or not AK Rover is a racist (he is) it seems to me that being exposed to facial recognition software is a small price to pay for having the evidence of police misconduct. Of course the cops always seem to turn off the body cams before they violate someone's rights. My initial impression was that facial recognizing everyone on the street is unconstitutional but it's not qualitatively different from recognizing someone from a wanted poster. Besides, cops don't walk down the street much. It does seem reasonable from a cop safety standpoint to know as you approach someone if they're a violent felon, before they take their license and run their ID on their computer.
BTW, does facial recognition software work on black people and Asians, or do they all look alike? (On a more serious note, I wonder how often the software will misidentify someone as a felon who isn't.)

He said it showed up on his Great Dane group. I imagine it is some sort of discussion forum or FB group.

You just had to play that card, didn't you?
I'm not biased against the judiciary or anything, but they wear those robes like it's their job. It speaks to their culture.
He could be a racist, but that paragraph does not "prove" it by a longshot.
Bullshit.
And you think that you're "being part of the solution" by screaming and yelling about WHITE PRIVILEGE?
There is NO such thing as "white privilege," there is only racial bias and discrimination with the rights of some being trampled.
If a black person is stopped without cause, its not WHITE PRIVILEGE to not be stopped, its an injustice to the black person
If a hispanic is not offered a job because of his name or ethnicity, its an injustice to that guy, not WHITE PRIVILEGE that some white guy got the job instead
If some X woman gets attacked because of her race, then it was a crime and injustice to her, not a case of WHITE PRIVILEGE that some other woman didn't get attacked.
Using "White Privilege" or claiming that ALL WHITE PEOPLE ARE RACIST muddy the water that real injustice gets done and also is a complete PR disaster. It turns away a fuck load of people with the moronic SJW labeling. And therefor YOU are NOT doing anything about racism, you just look like an asshole on the internet.
Thank you for that Kinnikinnick. The paradigm of complaining not about injustice but about the "other" not suffering from it quite as much moves us all back.
The fact that some people are more privileged than others and often blind to harsh realities they don't face is certainly real, but it is not a priveledge to have your rights respected and race shouldn't have to enter into it. (If we ever start doing that right.)
+2
It was an amputated human leg waiting at the OR front desk to be taken to pathology. The charge nurse was away for a while and the leg disappeared. We assume housekeeping threw it in the trash--it was bagged up and either they didn't realize what it was or thought that amputated limbs went into the trash. Of course it could have wound up in the cafeteria or at someone's Halloween party.
