87 is between $3.49-$3.59 in Central Oregon. Diesel is anywhere between $3.99-$4.29. Still a ways to go.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

It's pretty annoying that regular is hovering around $3/gal but premium is between $4.50 and $5 and diesel is well over $5, sometimes as high as $5.95/gal. I don't need diesel but it is pretty much the same thing as home heating oil so that makes it painful when you burn 120-150 gallons a month in the winter. Why does 93 command a $1.50 premium over regular? Bullshit

I need premium in all our cars and that hasn't been less the $5 a gallon forever. Still, factoring for inflation, I can't bitch to much except about inflation.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

what is crazy is the difference in price by location. Gas is $2.75 a gallon in my town. I drive over the divide 45 minutes to Pagosa and gas was a dollar more a gallon. The Pagosans must of realized how bad they are getting screwed. I noticed they have closed the gap to 60 cents now.

Yeah, whenever I'm doing a trip where I know I'll need to stop for gas I scan ahead on google maps or gasbuddy to see what prices are like and where it makes the most sense to stop. There are a couple zones driving through LA where gas is .50 to a dollar cheaper than average, and some areas where it is significantly more. Same thing driving all the way up I-5 to Norcal.
