Following APD's lead, here's a cool weather link I've found useful for trying to predict microclimate conditions. It's a prototype service from NWS, I think it only covers sierras right now. You can either pinpoint a location by clicking down on a map, or by entering coordinates. You can then customize your forcast by duration, time period, etc. for that specific location. Very useful trying to predict corn cycles when a few degrees and a few hundered feet elevation can make a difference.
