    It snowing lightly here in Aspen. Dumping all day at snowmass. Opening Day! Its gonna be even better tomorrow

    Pounding up at Silverton, sixty mile an hour winds. Four + inches from 8-2:30, still snowing.
    They weren't able to open the lift so the boot-pack was up the mountain, and then down the other side.

    and I'm out.

    Yeah, that was interesting. 100 people in a parade up the lift line. We had some beautiful untracked turns on Raf though.

    And then yesterday was sooooo cold. Nobody could feel their feet. But I learned a lot about the snow stomping my way down crotch deep. A foot of fluff on top of a two inch slap on top of two feet of hollow sugar. How many ways can that arrangement slide? It was all marked yellow (moderate) on the CAIC rose.

    And it was great to chat with Jenny again. Hearing about the trials and tribulations of Silverton is fascinating. Congrats on the marriage - now she's got her name on half the debt.
