I was just reading Sugarloafs page about Brackett Basin-- do they actually enforce the 'only enter in groups of 3' rule? That's some of the dumbest nonsense I've ever heard if so. If I try to go in there solo or with one other guy is that an actual violation of a rule that can be punished with clipping my ticket or something, or is that just a recommendation?

-10.7` bob this AM, laying in bed at 5 AM looking at the crescent moon was nice until I became aware of the wind blowing hard. Dress warmly and watch out for avies.

They don't. It's becoming pretty standard that resorts are asking you to bring a small group when they have an open woods policy, but I don't know of any that are actually enforcing it. Look at Jay and Smuggs.
