    I have an idea.

Although, based on you inability to find some fiber for your verbal diarrhea, I doubt this will work.

Why don't you just post the good ones? There are some; you're really improving. We just don't need to see every accidental twich of your trigger finger alongside them.

    Just a thought.
    It's idomatic, beatch.

i'm curious to know why you chose to ski the only terrain trap on the slope. it is cross loaded, has a steep slope above it and an abruptly flat outrun. was face no good that day? i don't know the avy conditions there but it seems odd to seek out a TT, especially when it is loaded.

    A) Because Avy controll work is done on it every week to mitigate very large avalanches (Its inbounds at a ski area thats open weekends only)
    B) Because everywhere else sucked (and by sucked I mean was scary spooky snowpack)
    C) Because everything was so wind hammered that it was bullet proof (we started jumping on an uber small cornice and couldn't get it to go, and the avy controll work on the one place that slides at alpenglow couldn't get it to go even with repeated ski cuts/ jumping)

i think you may have wind hammered and wind slab mixed up. if it were hammered then you would barely see your tracks (both skiing and skinning). if the resort is controlling it on the weekends then what happens during the week. i know the wind here can change stability on an hourly basis.

if you only have one slope that slides at alpenglow then you really can't judge all aspects based on its stability. just keep it in your mind that on weekdays your resort is backcountry.

the steep stuff (above Avy Gully, its called Avy Gully BTW) was solid ice (we could barely get an edge) we of course had our beacons on went one at a time and followed those rules, and iit did not slide or hint at all of sliding. Snow in the anchorage bowl is 100% different then snow elswhere, this new snowfall was extremely weird in that it really didn't move at all with the wind just kind of compacted itsself (which is great for spring skiing) Of course we didn't know that on the other side the oppisite ridge there was real nice sheltered powder with a 10 foot cornice to jump off of oh well.

Edit: Thanks for looking out APD you are right that spot definately has the potencial to kill people

Yeah, ok, now I know why I am not checking out more TRs.

    Nice pics.
Just seeing them makes me feel pain like the day I broke my still healing ankle.
But it's pain in the mojo.

Ohhh, boooo hooooo hoooo me. Where's the cry-emotion-icon?
    I want to play.
