Prophecy ending credits tune-really "Sun is Shining?"
hey, i also posted this as a reply to a posting a couple weeks ago, but wanted this question to get directly to you, TGR music gurus----
i actually got on here to post the same question- what the heck is that great song during the ending credits of the Prophecy. Um, everyone keeps saying (as it does in the credits themselves and on another post way back dated) it's Slightly Stoopid's "Sun is Shining," but either I must have a different version DVD or there must be a different Slightly Stoopid group. If I'm correct, "Sun is Shining" is a spinoff of the Bob Marley great---well, the song I'm hearing has a bunch of rapping
(sounding NOTHING like Slightly Stoopid)....and definitely not the lyrics that every website I've researched says Slightly Stoopid's "Sun is Shining" and Marley's song has.
Just trying to figure this out, cause I love that song, but really don't believe it's Slightly Stoopid's "Sun is Shining." TGR guys-- can you help a lady out? The song I hear during the ending credits has a huge rapping element, starts out "Oo-Oo....Take a good look at this life, and tell me what you find"...."We rock like this when we roll, I represent Bangtown(?)...west from the coast where the air is fresh....rockin on in that special way....Oo-Oo-Oo...I'm not your average everyday rapper from around the way".....mid-song has a nice melody.."No time to run away now, may not see another day now...No time to run away now, we can roll, we can chill, or we can just...Hey now...Oo-Oo-Oo...rockin on in that special way now..."
Ok, you get the idea- WHO IS THIS REALLY? and what's the song title?
ok, now i get it...got the movie from netflix, reading from other forums, guess i did in fact get a different version, completely different soundtrack. atleast now i can rest that the song i was hearing was not slightly stoopid....but still curious as to what that song is- anybody recognize it from the lyrics i posted earlier?
