    Smith "Chromapop" type of filter?

Is there a filter that achieves similar light filtering and properties to Smith's proprietary lens "Chromapop"?
Ive got a couple pairs of their glasses with that lens and am really impressed with how it filters out glare and somehow seems to increase saturation. Greens especially seem more vibrant through those lenses.
Does anyone know what type of filter achieves this effect?

Most likely a polarizing filter. Does just what you describe. Most effective when at right angles to the sun.

some companies make an enhancing filter, http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...tensifier.html and then there are warming polarizers like these http://www.amazon.com/Hoya-Peterson-.../dp/B0000AIS2S

you could always build a preset in lightroom with the clarity and vibrance pumped up a little.
