Started snowing a bit after 9 this AM up here in Serene Lakes and plastered everything pretty good for about 20 min, actually looked all white & wintery. Then the sun came out and it pretty much all melted.
Now it's moved back in and is coming down steady, sticking on the dirt but not on the road. Radar looks like it's not gonna stop anytime soon.

I'll probably head up to Sugar Bowl tomorrow, let's hope the snow keeps on coming! If anyone's around, let me know (especially if you know the area and want to show me around ). I'm in the grey Trew jacket with red Sweet pants.

Watching the large bare spot on the south-ish stuff on East Face of Disney cam sloooooowly disappear. That spot has been depressing me particularly.

See you there! Black helmet, blue pants, red jacket. If coverage is as it was last snow, I'm sticking with the Volkl Xplosivs. Fuck off, they are unbreakable.

Any reports from Sugar Bowl today? Frank Naets, you make it out? Thinking of using one of my two days on my Squalpine pass there tomorrow.

Ended up at northstar after all ( had to drive my buddy with the kids). Think there is about 10inch fresh, but total lack of base leads to all potentially interesting stuff being closed. With that in mind: how sensitive are they around here about ducking ropes?

Eh!? I was there Wed to Wed and it was cold, powdery, and chalky all over the mountain. Plus didn't it snow like 7" yesterday?

Can't say from personal experience but we're talking about a resort that has a sign announcing how many passes have been pulled for the season.
