Do you mean off the 14/15 hook? So, like, there will be snow actually?

Hell, I got excited when I saw an inch on the KW snow stake cam.

looks like we'll at least have a spring season on the plateau and a fat one on shasta. This storm is crushing from Mono Lake north.

snow levels appear to be rising to the 10k level. Not looking good for tomorrow but at least today's snows should give something to melt off before it starts to melt the base.

^^^ That sucks a big one for that house.

SB snow stake lost about 4" in the last 5 hours. 8" on there before.

    14/?? The OFFICIAL Tahoe Thread

Uh, that's the base depth. Wow, sorry. Did they have nothing on the ground before? 19-24 since 4 pm yesterday! Good for them.

It's something. You won't hear me complaining. By the time the second wave is done I think we'll all be pretty happy.

there was never anything to hope for here. it was exactly as forecast. if anything it turned out better than the forecast. snow levels are even tolerable for skiing now although they are suppose to rise pretty high again today.

A week ago I would have been happy to hear it didn't just straight-up rain and wash away half the base. So far this storm has over-delivered, if anything.

PM if interested, and I'll get you more details and connected with the owners so they can do a name transfer.
So that is $260 for the week. Bumping this to make that clear.
Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort. Located at the end of Ski Run Blvd, on Route 50, on the lake.

There may be a $20/ngt resort fee, but I am kind of unclear on that. Covered parking for two cars (you know, to protect you from the snow)

Also, we are sure on the No Dogs policy, as that knocked out someone who was interested.

Yeah, definitely better than it could've been. And tomorrow night's storm is supposed to average slightly lower levels.

I think it is gonna finish great. Based on the kiddo looking pretty sick today. I think I'll just give him a shot if adrenalin before dropping him off at ski school. Fever? What fever?

Alpine was fun this morning. Floppy heavy stuff but some decent improvement on coverage. No crowds. Cruised around w my son.
Started raining at like 1230 and cleared the mtn.

The snow was enjoyable at Kirkwood today, though skiers may have thought differently. Lots of crashes to view from the lift. The bumps had disappeared. Chamoix filled in a bunch, I'm sad that the rock at the bottom is nearly buried.

How was squaw? Worth bringing the spatulas out or stick with a traditional ski?
