Sorry for the off-topic post, but I'm looking to sell my K2 Obsethed's 179 with Small Dukes and K2 skins. Setup is MINTY, used three times (One resort day, two touring). After two blown knees I have made the transition to knuckle dragging and am only keeping one other pair of skis in case I get the itch again. Help me fund a splitboard! Message me for details, price, etc.

    Carry on.

No worries. Sitting here in rainy SF makes me realize that I need to go skiing. What do you guys do with your twins when you head up the hill? Got any recs for a good babysitter available in Squaw on weekends?

Donner summit but the other side of 80 and 40 than frog lakes. You could end up down in the cedars if you really wanted to go low. The other hint is it required zero skinning to drop in but quite the hike back out

Or Lincoln. I've meadowskipped the S-facing stuff closer to the Crest in a storm. Gets baked fast in the sun.

Light Ranger, your the closest, but it isnt the south face. I wouldnt recommend anyone dropping it unless you have scouted from multiple angles, thoroughly, as there are many dead ends and huge slide paths. but its amazing terrain and i dont think many people ever get after it. I rode that south facing gully off lincoln too and it was pretty fun meadow skipping, a good objective in bad vis/high avi danger.

SB was awesome all weekend. Hope these refreshers happen! I just left town so generally that means it's gonna snow. Stoked on POW, a base, more snow in the forecast ... let's go winter!

Has anyone been up in the Twin Peaks area? I've got a frame of reference for Rose and Donner...and based on the Obs from SAC from Grouse it looks deep.

Scoped it quite a bit from alpine the other day. I would say that the bottom may be a little rocky but passable, and the main north face/splitting gully looks great all the way. I was considering heading out there myself if I'd had the time

For your entertainment........ It was finally nice to get two solid days of riding this weekend. Coverage was great on the North end of the lake. Some fun small stuff to jump off, but still a little low tide. Saturday at SB, and Sunday across the highway. It's been snowing up in Truckee lightly all day. Refills should be plentiful.

I messed up. Don't ride Sugar Bowl much. Made the mistake of parking at Judah instead of Disney. Didn't get to Disney until it was fairly tracked out. But we got Sun Bowl when patrol dropped the rope.

I got Disney early and also got the rope drop to the area lookers left of Disney. That was my first time at SB. It was a mighty fine day.

It's still snowing tho, so I'm sure it will be 17" eventually.

Incessant marketing spew that's inaccurate more often than not. Deleted that app within a week or two of installing it.

Well, it is useful for checking out current lift status updates. Umm... or it could be if they bothered to ever update them mid-day anymore.

It might be, if marketing and ops talked to each other.

I deleted the app after the double notification this morning and the inability to disable notifications. DUMB.

The last two days at Alpine were F-U-N. Will be back there tomorrow.
