    Or OldGoat.

I was happy with the work Jeff Dodd at Tahoe Forest did putting my leg back together.

Sweet. Thanks. Getting old sucks. The last 2 days I worked out I injured myself. Kind of defeats the purpose.

This. He has a good reputation in town. My kid did a 4th year med school rotation with him (during the winter; my kid's no dummy) and was impressed.

Fuck. That's lame. I tried to give him some business when I wasn't doing my own work. Seems like he got screwed by the last several winters, like so many others. Honestly, one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Bummer.

I think he was spending most of his time coaching and traveling with the Auburn ski club ski team. He was gone for weeks at atime, which couldn't have been good for business. He did great work at a great price.

Ahhh. Gotcha. Wasn't aware he was coaching too. My sis skied for ASC a few years back. Wonder if she knows him.

Well I grudgingly bought another season pass today, was gonna skip it this year since I only had 5 shitty days of resort skiing last year, all my good days were in the BC and many more of them to boot.

But with all this talk of El Nino I finally broke down, it better fucking snow and hopefully not all above 8500 feet!

^^ That was one sketchy, long traverse to get to the top of his line. Jesus. Interesting camera angle.

Yeah, definitely been feeling antsy, despite warmth and fires. Next week hopefully see some fall weather and maybe a bit of drizzle.

Need new thread. RaccoonFace not around much anymore. Should pass off the reposting reigns to somebody else.

Chair lift to the top of Estelle. Fuck that. How about chairs to the top of the Palisades and Granite Peak while they're at it.

If KSL has their way all those may happen. Good news is there will be a lot of fat skis for sale cheap cuz no one will need them at squalpine. Raceskis FTW I guess.

Similar happened to Taos this year. Chair added to hike-to pow slope and now it's consistently a mogul run.

If the base to base Gondola goes in, that's right by one of the mid-stations anyway so who cares? Now, if it doesn't, then this lift is total bullshit because it would give private lift access to the terrain that the rest of us have to traverse and hike for.

At least the Kachina lift in Taos was part of the resort and not a private lift.

Likelyhood of this so called Estelle chair going in are way higher than the Gondi. All private property and no pesky wilderness designation to cross. Also makes a good foothold for breaking down resistance to the Gondi.
