NEW QUAD CHAIRLIFT
Representing an investment of $4.5million, the new fixed grip quad chairlift will provide quick access to NZ's most legendary free skiing and riding terrain. The chairlift is being installed from the bottom of the existing double chairlift to an area known as Tim's Table (1958m) just short of the summit. It is 930 metres in length, with 12 towers and has a vertical elevation of 370 metres.
NEW TERRAIN & TRAILS
Treble Cone is the only known ski area in NZ to open new terrain in over 15 years. Vertical elevation drop has now increased to 705m. Visitors can now enjoy access to a further 45 hectares of new intermediate terrain in the saddle basin and quick access to an area that has reliable snow both early and late season. New groomed trails include Upper High Street (which leads in to High Street) and South Ridge (previously known as Boundary Ridge). The longest intermediate run has now extends over 4km long, starting from the top of the new quad chairlift and finishes at the base lodge & cafi.
