    The end is near

    In the East that is....

The Yin and Yang release will be gone for another half a year....

    Break out the base cleaner....

Say goodbye to the massive 750 vertical

Bye Bye double fall line toeside surf zone

I'll leave my squigly smile elsewhere....

Bacon, what slopes are those? When were the pics taken?

Here's to hoping that VT does not look like that as I was hoping to get at least one more day out for some soft bumps.

And, the storm rolling in for tomorrow does not provide much comfort either.

    This AM at Holiday Valley.

Because it looked so good this AM, I had to play hooky. I will be working late tonight though.

I love cutting to the dirt on a turn. At one point I booted out and started a high speed toeside slide for life into the trees. For two seconds I flashed back to a slide for life in Alaska....but then I realized I was only in western NewYork. Danger was still there so I turtled around to a heal side stop. Sick-Nar!

That sucks. I can only imagine what they will look like after this weekend. By the turns it looks like you got some commendable carving in for sure Hopefully VT has a better base and will hold up, otherwise RIP east coast ski season!

Nice tracks. I grew up about half an hour from there but only went there once or twice. We were slednecks.

Zoo.. I've got a pair of never-worn Burton SI Driver boots collecting dust in the garage. They're just a little too small for me. Don't know what size you wear, but if they'll fit you, they're yours for the cost of shipping.

    What do I know

In a wicked turn of events, Mother Nature throws down the silky white glove and turns it back into whiteroom glory. Best pow turns this year with a dozen people on the hill and time to eight up my tracks. Oh the difference a day makes.

For an addict like you, you must have some pretty good stuff goin' on back east (i.e. great wife, kids, and job). Otherwise, you could be gettin' ready for a stellar spring season in the west. Take it easy.
