What are the rivers looking like in the Boulder/Lyons/Estes Park/Loveland/Ft. Collins area after the floods last fall? My dad is coming into town, hoping to get a couple of days of fly fishing in while he's here and doesn't want to drive two hours into the mountains to do so. He's fished the St. Vrain and Big Thompson in the past, but I haven't heard much about the shape of those rivers since the destruction (I don't fish). Any low-traffic spots that I should recommend?

The St. Vrain's looked totally ruined when I drove down from 72 to Lyons. That was in March. I was bummed to see the devastation that the flood caused.

South Saint Vrain is in bad shape, same for Fourmile Creek heading up Salina.
Middle Boulder Creek is not too badly damaged and the creeks around Testes Park and Fart Collins are still in good shape since the floods did not hit those creeks as hard compared to down here.
