    Engelberg week 12: Pics

There is a ski map here: here.

    Good morning, Engelberg!

Upper part of the glacier below the Titlis top station. Tracked up, but still fun.

Then we got about 20cm (8") overnight. Nice.

We had a camera, so the LZ was untouched (almost).

On the top of Laub (it means "avalanche").

Laub: 1200m (4000 feet) of vertical, and a restaurant at the bottom.

    Somewhere in/on "Laub", maybe?

    Hiking up to Jochpass.

It was worth it. About 1200m of vertical. Light at the top, slush at the bottom.

    Spring conditions at the bottom.

The Engstlenalp lift is waiting for us down there somewhere.

Tracks from the last part of the Jochpass run.

    Proscht!
I can see my house from here!

Now I have to dig around and see if I can find an old backup disk with Rotten's money shot from there.

edit: You got that shot, Pu?

I have the Euro CD somewhere. I'll look for it. Do you have the one with us with all those hot Asian chicks?

    ulty.....
Because extremely heavyduty shit went down that will never be discussed outside those that were there. It is kind of hard to forget, so we re-live that shit through our skiing pics in order to reminisce about that of which we cannot post about.

    cheap is relative inengelberg

multidude sleeping with breakfast did cost us. 38chf per night.
pension St. Jakob that is. we slept in the "people storage "room and did not have a room for ourselves.

cheaper is: www.unterkunft.ch and then search for engelberg. (18-30chf depending on season, but i think without breakfast. not sure though)

the youth hostel is about the same as the st. jakob. www.jugendherberge.ch ---> engelberg
but it is not high season anymore so you might get cheaper accomodations.
go to their website(www.engelberg.ch) and search for private rooms with breakfast. there were some nice 30chf rooms around, but they were all full when we tried to get there.
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.
