    WA mags?

Gonna be in Seattle in July and thinking about bringing my bike. Where should I ride? Can't make it up to BC, but I like fast trails, especially if they have high speed chunk and shit to jump off up to around 8' or so. Will probably bring my Nomad, rather than my ASR-5, as it can take the big hits better, but wouldn't be opposed to bringing the smaller bike if it makes sense to do so.

    Anyone wanna play tour guide?

    Give me a PM.

I've been riding Tiger Mountain a lot this year. We have a few new trails there, and it's easy access from Seattle.
There is also a mountain bike park called Duthie Hill which can be pretty cool.

If you are looking to go huck though, you'll find better riding buddies. These trails are fast, but not much in the way of air for the most part.

There are some of those trails in the Bellingham (Galbraith and others) area and near Issaquah (Exit 27 and Duthie) which I have not ridden much in general and none this year due to work. There are also the Tiger Mtn sort of trails which are more in the AM category that are definitely fun. And there are lots of XC stuff mingled throughout the area. I will pretty busy in July. The week of the 13th I will be down in Eugene, OR. Otherwise I can go ride a bit and would definitely be interested.

Duthie has jumps lines but very little vertical drop so you can't define them as fast trails. Exit 27 is more along those lines of what you describe but as was said they seem rarely ridden and half-maintained. Definitely steeper with drops, gaps, etc. The Bellingham trails are 90 minutes north but are fun as hell with many freeridey downhill jump line type options.

What week are you gonna be there? jesski and I might be back the second week of July if you wanted to do some volcano skiing or rock climbing. Shoot me a PM if interested. Sorry I can't help on the mtb scene.
