    WTB: Canon 6D body

Anyone selling a Canon 6D? I'm mainly looking for fast, prime, wide lenses with it but might as well try me if I will be buying a camera off you anyway.

Edgnar, do you use the camera for action shots? I currently have the GF1 and getting ready to upgrade to the EM10 this summer. On the GF1 I have a hard time getting skiing shots in focus(using 40-150 and 12-50 lenses primarily and in burst shot mode). I think this is because it keeps the focus from the first shot over the entire time I am holding the shutter down, but if I try to refocus mid burst it hunts and takes awhile to lock on again.
I have switched to JPG especially when shooting continuous feed.

I've got an EM1. Its the tits.

Seriously, size, build quality, features (super customizable), pretty good and growing lens selection, picture quality is fantastic. Couldn't recommend this camera more. It's not for sale, but you should try and find one or save your pennies.

WTB: Canon 6D or Olympus OMD-EM5 or EM1 body

Got one! OMD=EM5 coming my way. Thanks for the tip Tim. I used to have one I borrowed from my dad but he wanted it back so I needed to find my own.

Now for a lens. I can only take one lens with me on some big trips this summer and need to make a decision. I care most about landscape astrophotography to be honest. Basically photos in the style of David Kingham if you don't know what I mean. I love shooting at night-- meteor showers, light painted landscapes with the milky way in the background, lightning storms, etc... It would be nice if it was a decent walking around everyday lens as well. I kind of narrowed it down to the following. Any recs? Even if they aren't on my list, I'd love to hear opinions.

    1) Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 (the most versatile, but slowest lens of all my choices. Is this lens is too slow to shoot nightscapes at reasonable ISOs?)
    2) "Leica" 17mm f/1.4
    3) Voigtlander 17.5mm f/0.95
    4) Olympus 12mm f/2.0
    5) Olympus 17mm f/1.8
    6) Panasonic 20mm f/1.7

The Oly 12-40 f2.8 is number one on my list of future lens purchases, unfortunately, its tough being a broke grad student with expensive tastes. I have the Pany 20mm f1.7 version 1 with the incredibly slow autofocus. I fucking love everything about that lens other than the autofocus. Get the v2, its about $200 more I think, but worth it. Its so tiny that it easily goes into a pocket of a jacket or even a pair of pants if you aren't wearing jeans. I used that lens and the kit 12-50 exclusively on a trip to Chile this winter and got a ton of great shots. Many of these shots are with the 20mm, but not all, the exif data is intact, so you can look if you want. https://www.flickr.com/gp/edcarley/reK4n9/

Just remember that with the micro four thirds lenses it is super easy to throw them in your pocket, even that 12-40 is not huge.

Timalo- I haven't skied since I left Colorado last August, so I haven't had a chance to try the EM5 for action stuff really. I don't think I'd be really happy with it to be honest. I've heard that the EM1 has a much improved AF for tracking, and I think that same tracking AF has been put into the baby brother of the line- the EM10. I have a Canon DSLR too that I would probably use for action if I were to shoot it again.

But when I'm packing for a trip with a limited amount of space, the EM5 is my go to. Actually, the EM5 is just my go to pretty much every time. I shot an event last week with both cameras, a Canon T2i and the EM5, and I got more keepers with the EM5. The high ISO performance and the colors are just so much better. Even when I had the 70-200 f2.8 IS on the T2i. The only reason I keep the Canon around is for events like that where people only take you seriously if you show up with a big black camera.

On the list you posted I have the 20mm 1.7 and like it for low light.

I don't have anything else on your list, but do have the 9-18 which I love for UWA. It's super compact and lightweight and has produced plenty of photos I like including photos at night with a tripod.
The other lens I have that fits the focal lengths you are talking about is the 12-50. It doesn't seem quite as sharp as my other lenses, but it is convenient to have the focal range in one lens. It also took some nice nighttime landscape photos the other night at 12mm on a tripod.

I have an E-M10 with a bunch of m4/3rds lenses, mostly zooms. If I could only have one lens, it would be my 12-40 f/2.8, love it. As far as night shots, I don't shoot at night, so I can't help.
