It's a "home made" habanero and carrot sauce.

Pretty easy to make. Sweat some onions and add carrots and water. Cook until carrots are soft and water is cooked off. Let cool down. Blend with habanero and vinegar. Adjust levels of carrots and peppers to get your preferred heat. Add a little bit of salt to taste.

Drank that stuff while we were there.

Here's a short article on the hot sauces of Bocas. http://thebocasbreeze.com/dish-of-th...e-like-it-hot/

You could probably call super gourmet and get them to mail you the real deal. http://www.supergourmetbocas.com

We picked up a few specialty items there, but generally they are way over priced. Basically you're paying the same as whole foods prices plus shipping.

I know of what you speak. In Bocas.

Was there over new year and invited around to different households like a progressive dinner party on bastiementos. What a mix of cuisines

Cultural appropriation at it's worst. Privileged white dude goes to Bocas and copies their sauce then goes back to San Diego and starts selling it with a website that uses all imagery from Bocas. Adds in a dose of white saviour complex.

    Fuck that guy.

    This stuff is good:
    https://heatonist.com/products/ghost...t=378243121161

Even though it’s got ghost peppers, they cut it down so the heat is non-lethal. The blueberry aspect is unique, and goes good with poultry.

Going to make this now! Brought back too much green chili powder from our last NM trip and been dying to use it!

Don't know if it counts as a hot sauce, but Laoganma Chili Crisp is the single greatest condiment in the history of the world.
