Doesn't work for me.

On an iPhone, just swipe the message to the left. A trash can appears. I think the other advice was android but my android phone is off right now and I don't feel like going through the hassle of confirming. The bulk select/delete feature would be awesome. I use the phone app 90% and desktop 10% and that includes putting together the Intuition group buy.

Why put a feature request in for something that already exists? Go to your messages list view (not the message itself) and hold down (long press) on the message you want to delete. Click trashcan. Tada.

Funny that the tech geniuses behind the window pane didn't realize this...

that's actually kinda funny. A thread is put up asking for feedback- some great opinions/ideas are put out there, some tech questions don't get a fast-track answer because, well, who studies PM delete options, ....and that's an affront? That's why the question was asked in the first place. This current web team is more engaged than has been around for years. I offer these few examples: better security- site hasn't spam-crashed in years [knock wood]; search function improved by 80%, few tweaks may be needed but need user feedback; no more 8 character post minimum; three character search kinda works; formatting kinks w/new skin fixed; new Tapatalk platform rolled out; refined spam filter from link/photospam fairly effectively. Many of which were the product of the mags throwing good ideas out there and them knowing how to make it happen.
Still have a lot to do- forum organization/need for less, roolz/need for less, and the muthafuckin tags/errr ooops....so it's probably time for another beer-cheers

And to answer your question: users check PM delete options - you gotta listen to the users - it's like they way BD did tele bindings for a while - they had a good idea that they chucked on the market with minimal testing and just let users figure out that the shit was whack - beta testing on end users sucks - TGR is running headlong into the 1990's - maybe we need Gwen from TeleTips to run the site

Why does the search function blow dick? Why do I have to check "Search Types: All types" every bloody time? Even if you "Save Search Preferences" it still reverts to "All types" being unchecked. And why the hell do I have to upload a pic to my profile to insert/attach to a post? And even then it disappears? This forum is moving backwards in tech. Soon it will be 1994 around here.
