Question Summit Co floorspace on Saturday night?

Anyone have a floor/couch I could crash on up that way? The weather looks pretty crappy for driving back and forth and I want to ski Vail both days. Please let me know if you do and also tell me your favorite kind of beer! Thanks in advance!

I live out in Glenwood. I know... it's a poor comprimise between driving back to the urban hell of Denver or crashing on someone's couch, but.... I do have a spare futon. It's slightly over an hour's drive from Vail to Glenwood (more, of course, with weather), but there's no mountain passes to cross.

I'll be up skiing somewhere in Summit Co. on Saturday, with the intention of driving back home that night. If we can hook up somewhere, I can offer you the futon!

Oh, yeah...I like In Heat Wheat.

Funken- I don't have a place yet, but I'm moving back to Breck. after X-mas. Want to go to Bert on Sunday instead?

Nice! I'm thinking no on Berthoud on Sunday. It is supposed to be below zero that day and with the winds and heavy snowfall, I don't want to be skiing someplace like Bert. High avy danger, low visibility and bitter cold. Just something to think about.

Ubersheist, I'll see if there are any better offers, but otherwise, yea I would much rather drive to Glenwood than back to Boulder. 4 o'clock at the transportation center would work for me. Let me know if that'd be cool with you.

I'd wait for a better offer, too. I fully understand. However, if it is the best offer, send me an email (at theblandskier @ hotmail DOT com), and I'll get you a cell phone # or something.

I'm heading up with a friend on Saturday with no precise plans in mind. As such, I can't say when I'll be around. However, I doubt we'll be back to Vail by 4:00.

You're free to stay there. Just no cracks about my place. It's a f'ing mess.

avy conditions aside Funk ( which could be greatly increased ) hiking is always warmer on cold days than lifts.

Jesus it's going to be cold! I'm kinda glad that the buyer for my puffy still hasn't paid me so I can wear it this weekend. Board are you going to Bert?

Broncos game @2pm should be interesting.. I remember going to Mile High on days like that - easy to smuggle the "liquid fire" in..
EDIT: Tix are easy and cheap outside when the weather is like that- add in they are playing DA BEARS and you can scarf a tic for $5 or $10

That's the truth. I'll be up at berthoud on both days this weekend either bootpacking up the west side from the pass, or further north near the big parking lot on the west side. What is that 2nd Creek, current creek, creed creek I get the names confused?
