It would be a great weekend to head up and dork around, but I am only 4.5mo post op on the ACL and my PT keeps reminding me the graft isn't considered full-strength until 6mo. He hasn't cut me loose yet. I haven't had to deal with it all season because of the weather, but I actually have to apply some restraint this time.

    And my skis aren't tuned.

    And I'm afraid of rockstars.
As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.

    Umm,

I just called the Alpine Inn and all rooms are half off this weekend!

got a room, actually two connected rooms, for 87 bucks!

There's two extra beds if anyone needs one. I'd be glad to trade lift ticket vouchers, or cash for space.

I guess I am only dirtbaggin' it on Friday night, as I arrive too late to warrant a hotel room's price. Plus a shower and change of clothing will be good after Saturday.

PM me if you wanna go in on the room.

    dawn patrol was had!!!

GS, SQ99 and i gotter done, good times!

TR on the way. way too busy to put it together at work today and my camera battery is shot.

highlights include sweating like hell, my mad skinning steeze, diggin for a ski (again my bad) and and amazing amount of sailor mouth. snow was good up top, then nasty crust mank toward the bottom.

thanks for brewing the idea SQ99. best morning i've had in a long while.

excited for crystal saturday and sunday. see ya all there!

Maybe you should start hiking, the exercise might do you some good. Also last time I checked you really don't have to ski in order to take pictures of Powder Pass (a/k/a "the easy way to Lucky Shot"), you just have to be able to ride the lifts.

I'm waiting until tomorrow night (or EARLY Saturday AM) to make a decison- it's all snowfall/weather dependant. But 1 day @ Crystal and 1 day @ Alpental look like a lock for this weekend!

I plan on arriving at the main lodge (I will be on the 2nd floor nearest the upper patio next to the lift) around 8:15, and I will hang out there til the lifts open up. So, for all those Mags who need a lift ticket (Cash only, no check)be sure you are there, cause when the rope drops its on, and Im gone.

What Mag channel on the radio is everyone going to be on? My persoanl fave is 11' 27.

    BTW...Happy Birthday BC!!!!!!

For you I have something a little better... just think of it as my way of saying "thank you" for the Utard info.
