    Slednecking

OMG!! 5ft of freshies today. Bachy had lift problems, what's new, so went sledding. Faceshots? Bodyshots the whole time standing up. Even my 900/159 got stuck 4 times. Most of it was rib deep as soon as you stepped off the sled, especially the flats! Skiing obviously kicks ass but damn if hours of faceshots doesn't rock I dont know what does Though yesterday's 2ft of fresh was way more fun, read no getting stuck.
    Snow is a miracle!!!
    Woohoo!

    Is this your experience talking?
I was thinking more like bi, cuz I skied before sledding.
Plus 5 FEET of new makes it kinda tuff to even get to any terrain. Let alone terrain were 5' is skiable in whiteout conditons. Damn that skin would be a bitch!

Splat- Most likely, though not sure about goin to the comp. Bringing the sled any ideas on where to go w/ the skis? Thought about Sonora again.
Gonna ride Heavenly next week, 4-5/6 for 2 daze. Probably stay at Harrah's while there.

    Nice TR

What sled do you ride? I bought a sled last year and can say that some of my best turns of year were accessed with the help of my sled. How much longer can you ride near Bachy. I'm feeling the itch to road trip and bring my sled along and it seems like Bend is a good place to head(only six short hours away). http://www.biglines.com/photos/blpic37334.jpg
This photo is from last week at the area I work at. We closed two weeks ago due to lack of snow and skiers-----then it started to snow, hardly stopped since. Any info on sled accessed skiing in Mt. Bachelor vicinity would much appreciated.
    Thanks
    F.N.

P.S. I tried to post the photo rather that just a link but I'm too stupid to resize it down to 100mb, soo any help on that would also be appreciated.

Suckmobiles are the antichrist. Anyone who rides one for other than transportation purposes sucks a huge hairy moosecock.

    Sphinx

Your scarcasm is a little hard to spot in that post, maybe you should end with a rather than , that would help to aleviate any chance of confusion.

Hi y'all...bring on the hate because this is my first post. I know I will be nothing more than some gaper idiot until I have reached at least 1,000 posts Anyway, I have lurked on this site for quuuuite some time and never really had anything all that significant to add. However, this thread kinda urked me enough to butt in...I had always enjoyed this forum because everyone just seemed stoked on the snow and waht others were doing, as well as it was free of haters (a la that newschoolers site). I just wanted to respond that not since going to and from high school have I used my snowmobiles for transportation. Strangely, they haven't shed their hoods, cylinders, and pipes to expose their inner antichrist. I ride trails to enjoy miles of miles of VT woods with my pops and bro; I ride vast farmers' fields in the deep stuff for fun; I ride snocross because it's f-ing awesome...and I've yet to use one to access backcountry skiing here in VT...but you better believe I will! So, I guess I'll continue to chomp "huge hairy moose cock" and ride my snowmobiles.
