Is BLM still on main street? Will there be a vinotok this year?

Am I the only one that got stuck on I-70 right before the tunnel today around 11 ish? I think there was a threat about how bad CDOT Communication sucks... hopefully I'm wrong and missed the memo about intermittent construction or something west of the tunnel. Or government employee syndrome. I'm probably wrong
You are more right than you know. Keep on soldier, we need you.

I’m just glad Texass schools started or are starting next week. Buh bye!
No, it didn't last the winter from the snow and wasn't repainted. Not sure on Vinotok, I guess Delta will decide that one.
Edit to add on BLM: As you roll into town, there is a house with a big BLM banner. Someone didn't like it and said it was too big of a sign for code, which is was, by like an inch. She put some tape on it to make it an inch smaller and it's still there. Ha.
Aptly put. Also, Dog Town USA and Bike Town USA, especially this week with SBT GRVL rolling through town. River road is the only way to cut across town right now since I-40 is additionally fucked with chip and seal project, though I did see a few brave pelotons inhaling the dust yesterday on my way to south routt. This weekend is going to be a zoo.![]()
I got to test drive the WB express toll lane for free today. Wasn’t so busy to make a big diff, but it made a diff nonetheless. The merge back point may cause a little issue but overall it should rack up some good fees this winter to put towards the monorail.
Nice. Next comes Floyd Hill...
They could probably push the envelope on what they charge WB. Hopefully keep it reasonable.
Good news.

I once heard that some engineers who worked on the Glenwood Canyon project refused to drive it because of how dangerous it is. Probably a rumor, but still.
north bound horse.
Have to be in Aspen Thurs night. Wouldn't ya know heavy rains are in the forecast. Planning on the detour regardless.
either way it’s a long drive
be safe friend
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.

seems cdot can't put one foot in front of the other when they get to work or is it more like hold my beer the hairpin turns on this pass need both hands on the wheel
Tech companies hold the chips.
Commercial vehicles and RV on Indy are clearly the problem. Put up a gate like at a drive through. Make it high voltage electric so the dummies that get stuck under overpasses don't try to squeeze through. Pavlov's dog type conditioning
Pay me CDOT
There has been a noticeable dip in people/traffic this week. The drive may be longer, but it will hopefully be less congested. And yeah, CP not even a bad option for Aspen canyon or not.
It was nice when traffic was manageable in silverthorne for about 2 days
Any beta on Glenwood Canyon? I’ve been in Denver since last week and driving back to RFV tomorrow, wondering if I should go Indy or if the canyon is running smooth.
edit: Glenwood canyon wb was easy and uneventful a little before 9am today

Sounds like a horrific accident near Georgetown this afternoon...possibly a WB truck hopping the median into EB traffic?
On 285 near Conifer, a pickup was apparently going 80-100 mph, swerving in and out of traffic and ended up hitting another vehicle head on, killing 2, including a kid. Fucking horrific. Slow the fuck down people.
