There have been more lane closures EB in Idaho Springs (is this now going on 4 years of construction in that general area?) which are causing pretty big backups because of the spring break traffic. Why the fuck can't they open the toll lane in that area so 2 lanes don't have to go down to 1? What complete stupidity.

Probably # of days usage restrictions due to lane width. They've had the toll lane open for free multiple times with one lane closed when I've been through there during active construction.

Yeah, really, what the fuck. Another reason to leave this place and never come back. It starts to snow a tad here in Summit in the afternoon, no whoop. Get home from a few drinks at the brewery, and the Denver newscasters are shouting at me from my tv about a multi car accident on Vail Pass. Again. I look out my window, and really? Every time it snows a tad, that pass is closed. Could've gone to BC, and another three hour drive home. To Dillon, not Denver. Wtf?

Construction sometimes will shift lanes so the shoulder is a lane. In this situation there is a shoulder that is actually a lane (but not really), so why can't it be a construction lane for 2 lane traffic?
