Most of Idaho Springs in 3 blocks wide or less. You'd need to take out an entire city block along the whole length to put in 4 rail lines... that means businesses and houses, not trailers. Also, it means that those houses that remain lose their value because they now have 4 train tracks in their back yard. If you think they won't fight tooth and nail politically to stop that, you are nuts. What politician is going to win pushing an 11 figure train track that can't support itself with ticket revenues and requires eminent domain to destroy homes and businesses so that middle class skiers don't have to sit in traffic a couple of days a year?
