    I hit those with the trailer the other day too. Luckily the wife commutes VP on the reg so she warned me about them. Still hit em hard enough to bottom out the trailer jack.

    Multiple billion dollar front range rail line looks to be moving forward. No discussion on i70 rail. Floyd hill and Vail Pass improvement projects dropping soon. I'm pretty sure CDOT feels that widening, tolls and flow improvements are working. Gonna have to live with that for the rest of our lives. Rail concept is dead in the water.

    Rail along 25 on the front range makes a hell of a lot of sense. I'm not sure rail along the 70 corridor makes as much sense.

    Until they charge the trucking industry extra I70 will never be a viable cooridor for seeing a return on investment.

    no doubt finances play a role. But rail along 70 mostly addresses winter traffic, it's easy to solve that one because people are very specific in where they go. Summer, which has greater volume, doesn't work nearly as well.

    This is of course a totally new issue that we have never discussed in here before.
