Talking to someone who worked on the mountain this week, they were surprised by the lack of injuries. I mean, its only Friday thought.

It is seriously bad, like they were telling employees to only ski if they had to. That bad.

Not too sure how to call this weekend, although a trip to the supermarket in a couple hours would tell me right away.

Whole Foods in Frisco was pretty busy at 2:30 this afternoon, so my guess is it’s still a pretty busy weekend.

Drove up for some turns at LL with the little guy around 11:30 and it was smooth sailing. Except for the wind ripping small rocks off the side of the hill above Georgetown and absolutely demolishing my car with them.

I really hate the skiing mob mentality. All the shitty Front Range skiers who think they have to go 'ski powder', which really just translates to sitting in traffic for 5.5 hours and only skiing for 3 hours before their legs get too tired.

And the powder was yesterday, at least at ABasin. Lower totals elsewhere. It’s long gone by the time Hoyt and Mindy pull up in their Range Rover to Vail’s parking garage and make it up to Avanti. At least they have their “VAIL” and “Best Skier On The Mtn” Ski Town All Star hats!
